We found out that Fahry is a very flexible baby, and very easy to adapt and accept new things. This is also agreed by his Rehab Specialist, Dr Taayah and physiotherapist, Aunty Selvi. They said, usually babies are hard to get used with prosthesis, at least they would cry but now Fahry. He enjoys his new leg, as it will make him walk and run someday 😀
Aunty Selvi pakaikan Fahry the new kaki.
Now try to stand still OK baby.
Aunty Teena distracts Fahry with another toy.
Trying to reach for the toys.
Whatever lah makciks. This duck is rather delicious.
Tak tipu…. memang sedap!
Kaki awak ni kena urut selalu biar kulitnya tak meregang.
Saya tanak duduk! Nak berdiri cam tadi!
The doctor asked us to put Fahry on prosthesis gradually by 30 minute, 1 hour, 2 hours…. up to 8 hours a day but it is so difficult to do. I ask the nursery a favor to train him on prosthesis, but couldn’t expect more because it is really not easy to make the socket fits. Only me in the house can do it 80% right (20% still tak masuk seperti yang sepatutnya) seba ia memerlukan kuasa tangan yang tinggi dan kuasa tiada belas kasihan terhadap kanak2 kecil LOL.
So only beberapa minutes before sleep saja Fahry bole merangkak bersama kaki palsunya.
On the other hand, Fahry dah bole memanjat objek2 yang rendah. He even tried to panjat his walker. Luckily, or unluckily bila tak pakai kaki palsu, susah dia nak berdiri. With kaki palsu also susah cos the plastic is not made to bend. Hehe. Tak apela Dik, nanti dah biasa tu bole la tu kan.
