Some of my friends and I, almost all of us had target to quit job after 10 years of service. To quit job means to stay at home and taking care of the family. We are actually competing each other, for whom gonna be the first girl to resign. But to achieve the point not to earn monthly salary is not an easy deal. Either our husbands become a General Manager or we make our own money without having to work.
Last week I received an email from one of them, and to be surprised, it is a goodbye email, as a token of her resignation!
My friend, we call her Kay is now becoming a full time WAHM. She was my classmate and we always had chit chat together. She used to share her dream to become a WAHM and started to build her foundation years before she resigned. Prior to her resignation, she was a Managing Director of her own company of family business.
To be as what she is now, after merely 4-years working experience is not an easy thing. I could say that her resignation is one of the breaking news in our batch, while all of us are struggling to shine and visibly seen in the organisation (in order to stay and make more money), she quitted.
Kay is so tough. She is a mother of 2, and did all those things because of her sons. I get that her first son, Aisy, 2 and half, is a very active boy. He used to send her nanny to hospital when he was under her custodian. According to Kay, some cases from her son’s files were taken out by the babysitter and said that she’s surrender. So, for Kay, this is a challenge for her, so she won’t send her children to anybody anymore, instead, take care of them by herself.
She’s still young, and actually had a great future with the company. Her last position was Senior Researcher. But, because of her passion in making money from home, she willingly left that promising position.
If you wanna know more about Kay and her journey from FTWM to WAHM, stay tune and be prepared for the stunning stories, possibly I’ll get her to jot her first hand experience to share with other mothers who are dreaming of making money from their own cribs 😉
