Fahry’s Physioteraphy October 2009

I am so happy with Fahry’s development. Even if we don’t have much time to put him on the prosthesis, but he is so positive about his artificial leg, even tho sometimes it makes him hard to climb, because of its inflexibility.

Fahry can stand by holding on objects like table, shelves and so on, on his only real foot, but with the prosthesis, he is yet to do it. The artificial foot is too rigid and has no ability to be bent, so from knee to toe of the artificial leg, Fahry can’t do anything about it.

We always put him standing beside our living room table, and he can make 2-3 steps to the side. It is a very good development for a baby like him, even normal babies at 11 month pun sometimes doing that. And I guess he’s not lagging, except for his weight. Sungguh kecik.

Now we start to use the artificial leg, even if when going to shopping complex and Fahry is in the stroller. It is enough to attract people’s eyes but so far nobody dare to ask and we feel so extraordinary when compared to other normal babies with normal legs and our baby has a special leg.

I guess Hafiy also can understand what abnormal about his brother. This afternoon he pointed to Fahry’s tight and said “Kaki Adik.. takde”.
