Remember my entry about Kay, my beloved friend who turned from an engineer into a work at home mum?
I have lots of friends who are “I taknak kerja I nak kerja dari rumah” .. “I want to be a Work at home Mum”, but because of no direction, no guidance and no perfect example, most of them don’t have enough courage to even make a plan to achieve the state of being a WAHM, or a SOHO mom, whatever it is called.
Now that my very own friend, who used to be an engineer, to be exact a SENIOR in her previous organisation, finally left the position that must be very promising (she is one of the board member of the company’s community of practice). The main reason is easy – family.
So if you mothers, want to know the real experience, not merely reading from books-that-you-dont-know-it-is-written-by-the-person-or-others, now you can read from a very first hand experience, and ask question summore.

Have to admit, I was one of those mom. Now after 6 months of staying home, still don’t have any permanent business. I have to start looking for a job again.
hm… alahai… me not expert in english… sorry!
so… dah baca tapi… nak comment back in english… cannot la..
actually… me memang interested in WAHM or SOHO… but at this moment…must think first…

teringat entry lama alom dulu tuh. cant remember which one, but apa yg tertulis melekat dalam otakku. its something like this “semua ibu mahukan dan akan buat yang terbaik untuk family dan anak-anak namun tak semua sanggup untuk tukar apa yang dia buat sekarang (working @ office) dengan sesuatu yang lain (bisnes dari rumah) apatah lagi kalau belum pernah buat. ia bukan mudah.” ayat alom tak macam ni tp it means like this.
i agree. indeed its not easy. tetapi, “we reap what we sow” kan. InsyaAllah!
