Having these 2 boys, even when Fahry is not home, making me really have no time for myself, as well as time for Abiy.
If we have something to discuss, the ONLY time to do is during our journey to the hospital. Now that we are no more going to the hospital, and very rarely going out together, we somewhat having ‘communication breakdown’.
During weekdays, Abiy is not having breakfast at home, instead he brings the food to office and has his breakfast outside. Furthermore, mealtime is not suitable time to talk about personal matter cos we are eating together with Bibik and we try to avoid any family discussion with Bibik presence, it’s not nice when outsider knows about our family matter, even if she’s our maid cos she’s not one of the family member afterall.
And because of that (not much communication), I am rarely look after myself, and I am very comfortable in my old T-shirt and kain sarung every now and then. My hair and look,… IF Abiy is a playboy I bet he’ll look for someone better.
After had a conversation with Kak N yesterday evening, I realize that even if I think I am a good mother but I am not a good wife. I wear simple outfit for my kids, so that I don’t take much time on myself. I don’t wear perfume, or even lotion, or even body talc. But when thinking about Abiy’s concern (He never mentioned about it, but who knows?)

Today I’m back to the ‘teenager look’ with bright T-shirt and trousers rather than wearing kain sarung like mak nenek. I tot I’m not fit the trousers anymore (perasan buncit) but thanks to Bengkung Moden!
OK this bengkung is really good for anyone who wants to reduce of hide the ‘spare tyres’. Not only for moms in confinement or caesarian mom, sapa-sapa pun bole pakai. It can acts like girdle. Kalau nak kata korset tu tak lah… cos it’s not shaped like that. But it is very flexible plus the material is non-latex, serap peluh & tak panas.
The velcro is very special since it can be ‘lekat’ on any of the bengkung’s surface. So doesn’t matter how you’re changing your waist size, it can be worn anytime. And you can wear it to jalan-jalan, office, pasar, etc. Nobody would notice that you are actually on bengkung!
Nak simpan pun senang. It doesn’t require much space. I just gulung the bengkung and with the velcro, it won’t terburai dah. And to wash it pun just gulung and put the velcro on, then can wash using washing machine.
(Apa kaitan sebenarnya antara komunikasi suami isteri dengan bengkung? Tapi bengkung ni memang best, recommended to everyone).
