Everytime Hafiy’s body temperature arises, we don’t wait, our immediate action is sponge his body all over and bring him to the hospital or paed’s clinic.

If in KL we bring him to APSH, even if it is a bit far from our house but the doctor always willing to layan our request. Mengada-ngada sikit. Nak blood test la, test itu la ini la. But we never see the paed yet, because Hafiy never had any serious illness, just normal viral fever.

When Hafiy got his body warmer than usual on Monday, we brought him to Dr C clinic. She’s one of the Mirian paeds. What I like about this clinic is, while you registering at the counter, the nurse will take your baby to check his weight and body temperature. If anything above normal, he’ll get immediate treatment, like what happened to Hafiy.

We lost our home thermometer (blame the pindah-randah thing) so we didn’t know how high Hafiy’s body temperature was. When the nurse checked him and he was detected to be at 40degree Celcius, the nurse asked us to do sponging on him immediately (the towel left in the car). Abiy ran to get the towel and sponged his body while Hafiy was crying like we wanted to abuse him. Few minutes later, the nurse call Hafiy’s name and we ran into the treatment room. She inserted ubat bontot into Hafiy’s bumbum.

While waiting to see the paed, we sponge him and satu klinik dengar suara Hafiy. Nurses came and take his temperature several times. "Dah turun sikit.." Turun from 40deg C to 39deg C

Hafiy name was called again to see the paed. Dr C is a nice lady. She greeted Hafiy and gently checked him. She checked everything, asked us many things and belek-belek here and there over and over again to make sure no unusual sign. While Hafiy was crying, the nurse showing some soft toys to calm him but didn’t work at all LOL.

She said Hafiy could has viral fever, don’t stop sponging him and if after 2 days he’s still having it, bring him to her immediately. Hafiy was prescribed with paracetamol, antibiotic, ubat batuk, perimperan for muntah and ubat bontot for high fever.

Alhamdulillah, after 2 days Hafiy was free from fever. Many thanks for Dr C and the staffs for that nice treatment and service.
