Badges yang simple tapi menarik ini adalah hasil kerja crew Kedai Gambar Kami. Oh ia bukan kedai gambar saya, tapi KEDAI GAMBAR KAMI PHOTOGRAPHY & DESIGN. Siapa diorang ni? Entahlah saya pun tak kenal (habisla aku kena kejar dgn Dak Lina :P) tapi kalau baca dalam blog mereka ni:

MSK : How long have u been in this business?

KGK : KedaiGambarKami is initiated in 20th Jun 2009 by me and my husband. It have been one really good year since then :).When we first started, we were known as "Blog Suami Isteri Yang Suka Ambil Gambar",which  sounded too straightforward and cheesy ,hahahaha!Photography is quite far from our current full time work that is me as a veterinarian, and my hubby , a teacher.

MSK : What is your starting point?

KGK : We didn’t just wake up one morning and says, "hey, let starts a (part time)business!".KedaiGambarKami have been started after some meticulous thinking from me and my husband.It is just we did not want to be "hangat-hangat tahi ayam", you know. Both of us love photography since, forever and after 2 years indulging with DSLR cameras, some of our friends suggested us to start a business.At first, my husband did not really take part , so you can say that it was a one man(woman?:)) show before he started joining me seriously a few months after. I focused on photography only at first, but then I want my blogshop to be active eventhough I’m not doing any photography job at that time. Thus come the ideas of  making designs for blog header, blog badges,banner and buntings .:)Basically we can design anything that u want whether it is custom made or personalised to your liking(in soft copy).And finally, the photobooking ideas.There is a saying that I read by the Internet, ‘moments can fade away , but the pictures stays the same’.Photobook is another contemporary way to keep that moments of yours , be it about your wedding, your babies, friendship, convocation, travelling,picnic and anything!And alhamdulillah, our clients have grew within the year 🙂

MSK : How do you balance your daily life/family/work/hobby beside this business?

KGK : I usually do the designing.photobooking/photoediting at night when my daughter is asleep.And weekends for photography jobs.So far, I did not find this as a burden.When you have passion in something, you will always have time for it.

MSK : What motivate you to keep on going?

KGK : To give the best.I always wanted to give the best quality product for my clients’ satisfaction.And ours.Me and my husband love to do self critics.We wouldn’t satisfy with our current achievement, we strive to do better!And kudos to friends whom had suggested us to walk along this way now 🙂

MSK : What is you advise to others who want to start a business?

KGK : Doing business is not only about the money.It is about sharing your point of view and passion with others.When you can understand your clients as your friends, then you will enjoy doing business with them.

I love their passion. Best kan macam tu, bila kita drove by passion, walaupun melingkup sekalipun kita tetap rasa happy sebab kita buat apa yang kita suka. & motivation untuk keep on moving tu datang dari dalam hati, sebab kita enjoy apa yang kita buat. Ini namanya money-making-hobby 🙂

Dan ia tak ganggu rutin harian! Macam Fly adalah cikgu dan Catlina adalah veterinar, diorang tak perlu sacrifice apa2 sebab buat benda2 ni as hobby.

Nampaknya saya kena cari satu hobi yang boleh jadi mesin duit gak ni 😀
