Oh nooooo! Hafiy is going to be a 20 months old toddler in a week! And in 4 months time he’ll be 2! I’m really not ready hahaha.
Hafiy is still my little baby duck. In fact, he is. He still wants me to carry him of I am not carrying Fahry. And of course he always menyibuk when I want to perform my solat. Nak solat sama la tu (mintak Mommy dokong). On top of all, he’s still breastfeeding! Nak dapat phD yey yey. Sedar tak sedar I’ve been breastfeeding dah dekat 2 years. Tepuk utk diri sendiri.

Hafiy is a very active toddler (biasa la bebudak baya ni). Memang tak boleh tolerate. Barang kesayangan, jangan letak di tempat yang bole dicapai. He likes powder and lotion, baru je menjahanamkan Aunty Fatin’s new lotion. The other night, he woke Tok Ma from sleep and asked her to pakai bedak.
Very hygienic as well. Wash hands, has to be sabun 3 kali. 1. Hand sanitizer, 2. Sabun cuci pinggan sunlight lembut pada tangan 3. Sabun biasa untuk cuci tangan. Basuh saja-saja, no!!!
Now Hafiy dah boleh cakap sikit-sikit.
“Abiy…”, “Miiii”, “A…ty (aunty)”, “Baby (Fahry)”, “nak”, “no”, “yes”, “poo”, “car”, “bus”, “tractor”, “train”, “crane”, “air”, “aiss”,”book”…
He likes transport. When going out and about, nak suruh diam is pointing to the transports and he will “Waaaahhh!” for buses and lorries.
We plan to toilet train him in 2 months time, after he can deliver his message properly. I don’t think it’s too early cos most of my friends’ children toilet trained at 2. Recently Hafiy dah boleh bagitau if he poo or pee, but only after he selesai his business. Ape dah.
But to me OK la for a start, at least he understand what I always tell him “Kalau nak pee ke poo ke bagitau Mommy ya” but lambat sikit je. 😀
I planned to put him on CD, and we started with ‘traditional CD’ (napkin biasa + lapik getah beli kat supermarket.) But he since his skin jadi merah2 recently so we changed back to dispo. And now I think no need to think about CD-ing Hafiy because of the toilet train plan. For Fahry, maybe…
Hafiy likes to do house chores siram bunga, basuh baju, jemur baju… but he doesn’t like mengemas. Sepahkan ada la. Everyday kerjanya menarik buku-buku di shelves & biarkan semuanya berselerak di lantai.
Bila jemur baju, he usually point out at our clothes and says “Abbiyyy” for baju Abiy, “Mmmmiii” for baju Mommy. And I’ll reply with “Yes, this is Abiy’s green shirt. Clever! Now mari kita jemur baju hijau Abiy ni”.
Time flies very fast. I even tak perasan that Hafiy is 20 month old. I am very proud of everything about him. Especially when he pats his baby brother when Fahry cries. And when his granny and aunties and Bibik clap their hands when they point to any letter and Hafiy says it right. And when he hands me coins he finds anywhere in the house. And when he curi-curi makan coklat (he can’t take chocolate because of his allergy). And when dance when Bibik sings (Dahla tu, semua mak pun bangga dengan anak dia).
Hopefully there’s no trouble two. Hafiy will make it a joyful one! 🙂
