This one is great, and I think a good opportunity for us ladies to improve our English. Please read CoachSha’s below note:

we all since kids tkdela my parents grg2 ajr english..but kitrg yg 4 awal dok n ada lhir d uk so auto suke n terer english..but yg lain2 tuh, bnyk dtg dr reading..our house newspaper is nst..mag pun english like readers’ digest nat.geo…buku mostly english as my dad is uk grad dia bnyk tkn kn bi..but tkde la smpi berbuih speakang kt umah..hehe

  i masuk kat sek menengah baru belajar2 English. kui2. masa tu baca series SVU, tapi takde collection pon huhu.

i memula sampai sini, mmg betul2 rasa blur2…Alignment otak yg process bahasa tu dah lari kot bila dgr org cakap English Aussie slang? Mujo now dah ok skit…

Alhamdulillah lecturer kat uni diwajibkan guna English Buku, so selamat lah daku & also other international student. perkara best as a Malaysian yg di anggap not so good in english sebab its not our mother tongue, I buleh buat2 blur tak paham sgt bahasa ibunda mereka. So dalam kelas tu kalau benda I tak tau sgt, I can act as if I don’t understand english much…HUHUHUHUHU!

Regarding english educating, I belajar english sendiri dr tgk sesame street & disney cartoons. siap papa belikan memacam tape video kartun english. then lelame i sedar i paham english. i realize i paham english after my parents cuba hide something from me by speaking in english, then i responded to them. terus diorang cam excited & surprise i paham apa they all said. i think i might be around 5yrs old time tu coz i belum masuk tadika lagi. anyway, my family mmg bilingual coz papa&mama sekolah omputeh dulu. maklum la cameron highlands kan? tempat anak mat salleh reside and my parents just join sebab sekolah free.

anyway, i masih rasa comfy nak cakap melayu, especially mengunakan term2 slang org pahang..hehehe….especially now kat foreign land. suka hati boleh kata apa2 kat public & yet being discreet(tp pastikan takde budak msia around..hehehe).

  i plak belaja English thru lagu2 zaman remaja dulu. hehe. hapal lagu2 BSB, ‘n sync… wah sgt membantu. tak sangka daripada buta English PMR dapat gak A. hahaha!
  
  my parents non-English background, plus tinggal kat kampung di kelantan pulak, where kalo spiking English siap laaa kene kutuk. even spiking dlm English class pun kena kutuk hokey (not in all school macam ni).

    atleast u ada exposure to english…and now u tau anak2 u pun akan tahu english…..yg penting tu, kita tahu lebih dari satu bahasa…cam u tau bm, english & arab….kira terrer la dr matsalleh yg tau english aje..huhuhuhuhu…

salam,

kakyong masa sek men di MRSM, kelas English dari form 1 sampai form 5, cikgu letak student ikut set.. mana set pandai set 1, dan seterusnya.. kakyong ni selalu dlm kelas set 3 @ 4.. kelas yg dah nak corot… kalo kena ckp BI, uwaaa rasa nak nangis.. report writing ok tp bab nak ckp tu yg tak confident.. kalo tgk dr result memang le tak hebat sgt SPm dpt C3 jer.

bila masuk matrik baru dpt speaking sikit2 , itu pun sbb cara pengajaran cikgu yg berbeza.. tp dlm dok lekeh2 tu dpt gak peluang masuk drama BI.. hehehh, tak memang pun tp ade le 1 peningkatan diri..

masuk UUM, join persatuan AIESEC.. dlm tempoh sem 1 dok speaking broken2 dgn kwn2 india & cina.. boleh la speaking & g buat marketing @ fund rising projek di sekitar kilang2 di Alor Setar & Sg Petani… masa tu HR kilang2 yg kami pergi siap puji lagi.. 1 sbb budak melayu yg baru 1sr year & boleh speaking dgn baik…
sejak tu keyakinan tu semakin lah naik naik & naik…

tp tu ler kan, bab pembacaan.. org lain masa sek men dah baca buku Daniel Steel, bagai.. kita masuk U baru nak kenal.. tp buku Daniel Steel tu byk scene XXXXrated, camno ler ade yg sek men dah baca…

Saya pun sama. tak reti sangat cakap BI nih. Berhabuk kalau cakap dengan bos. Aci redah sudah. Hehehheh Kalau kat rumah, nak ajar Khayra cakap BI, abah dia la.. me? hehehhe ada jugak Khayra tak faham apa ummi dia cakap nanti. Confius dia.. Hahahhahaha

Owe it to my English teacher, Ms Helen when I was Standard 3. The whole Standard 3 must read English story book at least one book per week & we were required to jot down any words that we don’t understand & then jot the meaning as well. From that onwards, I fall in love with English Story book & dedicated it with many Enid Blyton books I’ve read in my childhood.

written & speaking english different (awat rasa mcm gammer salah je nie?).. akak leh ckp sikit2 english, tp kalau tulih sure bterabur grammer semua…

tp ayah akak pesan, x kisah grammer salah (utk speaking), sbb omputih tu pun bukannye pandai english punggggg.. kalau x, xkan depa pun ada kelas english.. sama mcm kita, ada kelas bahasa melayu (ke malaysia?)

how can u said that u cant speak English that well? r u sure or not? nak merendah diri plak yerk..heheheh…i can see that in ur writing lah dear .. u r very gud in English .. *clap, clap, clap…*

i pun dalam blog memang leh kata 99.9 % in malay, lagi rasa laju i taip berbanding english ..coz, kalau cakap English , rasa ok sket, tapi kalau tulis, i nih cam alert sket tang grammar tuh, so kalau tak betul, rasa cam berdosa jer .. ahaks ..so better ckp malay jer ..

unless forum2 international parenting board yg i join cam yg i inform dlm my blog tuh, nak tak nak kena tulis english, kang ada plak yg tak paham apa aku cakap ..ahhahaa.. but i normally use simple & basic english lah ..takder lah word power2 atau extravaganza ..ahhahaha..

i pun belajar sendiri jer english nih ..rasa rugi jugak, kalau tau betapa pentingnya english, definattely i will study & polish my skill more…thats y i nak terapkan ilmu tuh pada Q, sok besar senang sket dia .. heheheh… tapi jgn lupa our mother tounge dah ..tuh nak kena panampar namanya ..hahahah

sumtime i wonder ..napa lah mak apak aku tak htr ke sekolah cina? leh lah aku pandai mandarin (walaupun hanya bercakap, bukan tulis).. arab pulak , sikit2 jer i tau, yg basic especially number (ingat sebab sokmo hubby tanya bila time ngaji, ni muka surat berapa???hehehhe) . tak amalkan mmg cepat lupa ..hehehe..masa sekolah aggama jer ada subjek nih..
