YouTube is a recent powerful tool. From entertainment to information, almost everything is available.
Our daily ritual is watching YouTube videos. Watching from browser is very inconvenient because our internet connection is not always tiptop. So I download the videos, burn them in CDs and watch on our TV, or just watching using our lappy’s Media Player.
I like to use Zamzar site for this purpose. It’s very convenience and fast. Can convert the format to any files type, *.avi, *.mpeg, *.mp4 and even *.3gp! And it’s FREE! I can watch it immediately after downloading it.

Go to www.zamzar.com

Click on Download Videos

Choose your favorite YouTube video, copy the URL.

Paste the URL into Step 1 in Zamzar.

Choose the file you want the video to be converted, e.g. *.avi in Step 2.

Type your email address in Step 3.

And, press the Convert button in Step 4.

Wait for the email and start downloading the file!
This is rather better than downloading direct from YouTube cos we can play it using Media Player or Winamp without have to install the codex and so on, and without have to use the software to watch *.flv file.
