Abiy is undergoing a procedure called LASIK to correct his short-sight. LASIK is the acronym for laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis, a procedure to ‘cut’ the cornea, making it shorter so that images captured by pupil falls on the retina. It claims back the normal eye sight so no more glasses!
It was me who actually dying to do LASIK sebab boring spec asyik kena attack dengan anak2. But since I was breastfeeding, they couldnt do it on me. Have to wait for 6 months after stop breastfeeding for LASIK! Furthermore when I got pregnant with this third baby, mimpilah nak buat LASIK.
Abiy chose Prince Court for his lasik. The actual cost is RM12k something but they are giving 40% discount so it total up RM7k ++. For PETRONAS staffs and other panels the discount is up to 45% so total cost is RM6.8k something. This offer ends after 30 September 2010.
Prince Court claims that they have the best LASIK equipment, of course bladeless.
Abiy only went to see Prof Wehaya on Wednesday, and get appoinment to do LASIK on Friday. For two days he’s on antibiotic and some medication that makes his eyesight so blur. If you wear contact lenses, for a week you have to take them off.
The payment could be done by monthly installment with Citibank and Affin Bank credit card.
The risk? It is 99% succeed so 1% risk of failure, hopefully Abiy wont fall into that 1% lah.
So hereafter no more glasses for Abiy and i have to wait until I don’t pregnant nor breastfeed for LASIK. sob sob sob.
