Kitorg tahu pun sbb tokma dpt surat yg bgtw Habib Jewel buat jualan runtuh akhir tahun 2009; ala-ala Year-End-Sale gitew. We don’t expect much since harga emas sgt mahal recently, but we were so surprised dgn sambutan org ramai.
I think kt dalam kedai tu ader dlm 20-25 org promoter and all of them sibuk layan customer. Kitorg kena Q tuk tgk emas-emas tu. After talking to customer kanan-kiri kitorg, semua pun sibuk mengatakan harga emas kt Habib Jewel sangat murah untuk hari ni; up to 70% discount!
Sementara TokMa sibuk tengok gelang emas jenis 916, abiy ask one of the promoter utk bawak sample gold bar jenis Suisse. Unfortunately, gold bar jenis 10g, 20g & 50g sume sudah habis; kalau masih mau beli kena order dulu and tunggu few days/ weeks baru dpt. Gosh, either Malaysian dh jadi mcm penduduk India yg gilakan emas or Habib Jewel je buat-buat habis stok so that org beli yg 100g or more.
For today (final day of their YES), Habib Jewel ckp drg bg discount RM6/g. Since gold bar Suisse tu pegged at RM146, after RM6 discount jadi RM14k untuk 100g gold bar. Tauke kedai tu sanggup bagi RM13.7k. Considering you can get another 0.5% rebate kalau guna kredit kad (no extra charges), RM13,631 for 100g pure 999,9 Suisse gold bar seems to be very good price currently.
Other Malaysian made gold bar (like Public Gold & Bunga Raya Poh Kong) pun skng ni jual about RM13.6k. Some more, Suisse ni recognized Internationally. Cume the down side (yg saya tahu), dia punya spread is quite wide; jurujual tu ckp kalau nk tolak balik ke Habib Jewel, drg sanggup beli dlm RM123/g, so about 11%. Maybe you should survey other jewellers how much they can offer. But still, I think still a good gold bar untuk beli-pajak-beli-pajak punya investor.
So guys, if you really into this gold thingy, maybe you should go and see yourself. Since hari ni last day offer, promoter tu ckp pagi tadi tinggal 10 keping je lagi 100g gold bar jenis Suisse. In fact, awal pagi tadi ade org yg beli 1kg Suisse gold bar; cukup utk byr downpayment for 3 of decent condos in KL woo.
Oh, did i mentioned we get free breakfest by Habib? Haha, kebulur sbb tak keluar sarapan asyik tgk Channel Astro Star Movies pasal baby kena kidnap yang memang kelakar tak hengat…
