Due to the hot season in this region (always hot lah. tepi laut katakan. but lately the ‘heatness’ is menjadi-jadi), Hafiy got rashes all over his body. Especially the most sweaty areas. Dia memang prone to get heat rash, Kelantanese say ‘cemar peluh’, but this time was very severe.
Memang sangat reddish and look like eczema, except he didn’t menggaru-garu je. But I am so sure it wasn’t eczema, cos I pernah kena eczema, memang tak boleh duk diam, asik menggaru je.
Luckily, Fahry tak kena. He even has no diaper rash! Good boy! We thought he is more ‘riskier’ to get rashes than Hafiy but he’s a one strong boy.
When Hafiy’s rash became reddish tu, memang agak buntu juga, cos he never has it. Usually when he got rashes like this, we just ignore je, after 2-3 days it’d disappear, but this time it’s very the stubborn. I asked my mom, she said Calamine lotion might helps, but eventually she drew it back for Hafiy might not like the lotion and he might ‘play’ with it instead. So we tried to change his sabun mandi to this one====>
Oilatum Emollient, we bought it at Guardian je. About RM30++ per pack. But it wasn’t work well. The rash was still there. And makin teruk ada. Kulit jadi menggerutu. Especially on his forehead. The only thing yang makes me less worry is he’s not tergaru-garu sangat.
Abang Kabi, who came to our house one fine evening suggested to try Pinetarsol, something that he mentioned “ada kat Prince Court je”. Ayork, how could we get it.. jauh sangat tu Prince Court 😛 He said it costs RM35+.
Then I suggested to Abiy, why don’t we just try our luck at any pharmacy 
(except Guardian) here. We went to Boulevard and tried at Permaisuri Pharmacy. Luckily they have it! And it costs only RM28+.
After few days trying Pinetarsol, Hafiy looks better now. Dah tak merah-merah sangat dah, And his nappy rash pun dah OK sikit.
For both solution, just add some drops (as what written on the pack) into his bathwater. Boleh mandi macam tu je or rendam badan. For severe case (like eczema, etc.), can mix it with water and spray using any spray, like spray yang guna untuk gosok baju tu, and just spray on the affected body parts.
It might help to ease any form of itchiness and rashes, could be a good try for children who have measles, chicken pox or such. It is easy to apply summore, just mix with water in their bath tub.
Mothers with sensitive-skin-children might want to try this. It works well for us.
