I am just making everything clear. Hopefully no more antivirus shows warning about Trojan.Script.Iframer in my blog. Demmmmmm it.
I spent some times to think about this, because this is the first time my blog is ‘infected’. The first thing I did was to Google about “remove Trojan.Script.Iframer wordpress”. There were lots but most of them are not helping at all for this beginner 😛
But I found some sites those gave me inspiration:
http://ocaoimh.ie/did-your-wordpress-site-get-hacked/
http://forum.kaspersky.com/lofiversion/index.php/t104035.html
So I sent an email to newvirus@kaspersky.com providing my blog link so that they could do what they should 🙂 This is to determine whether the stufit Trojan is really a threat of just a false alarm.
Meanwhile I installed some security plugins such as Antivirus 6.0 and WP-MalWatch. They are really really helping I tell you. From WP-MalWatch scan, I found a suspicious file in one of my folder, and immediately sent it to the hell LOL.
According to Techno 360,
This Iframe malware can infect any Php file, which access your website mainly from your (99%) PC via FTP transaction(steals Ftp passwords) and injects harmful Iframe code in php files, this code often overwrites the ending php tags in the file and thus brings the site down.
This is a serious matter because this bugger has sent away my visitors and cut the analytic graph into half 🙁 and let most of my blogger friends remove my blog link in their sites.
Hopefully everything is resolve now as I think I have removed the right file 😀 Oh dear I should do more study on cpanel, ‘read’ all those .php files and know them by heart. LOL.
Blog security… other than stopping the copycat blogger stealing our blog content, this one is hacking the blog, either by bots or a person.
The easiest way to secure our blogs is to UPGRADE to the latest version and CHANGE PASSWORD regularly 😀
Hey Kaspersky users out there, is there any warning? 🙂
THank you everyone for the emails, SMS, YM, FaceBook, etc. Heart you!
