To celebrate Aunty Fatin’s graduation day on 15th, Abiy brought us to Desa Parkcity Waterfront to have steamboat. He just learned that Bandar Manjalara has the most steamboat restaurants, and Desa Parkcity has one, which the ingreadient is freshly comes from Pulau Ketam.
We started to fall in love with Desa Parkcity since our first visit. Not to stay there, probably as our pit stop because Desa Parkcity is just 5 kilometres away from our house, and it has a very very good facilities such as shopping, entertainment, park and education center. However, I heard that they’re gonna charge for every entrance to this area. To make it more exclusive, perhaps?
For those who doesn’t know, Desa Parkcity located next to Sunway SPK Damansara, before Plaza Tol Sungai Penchala to LDP. As you drive through MRR2 from Kepong to Sungai Buloh, approaching exit to LDP you’ll see the signboard. It’s a great township, I would say. Even it has manmade lakes. And the spectacular park.
We arrived there at 8.30pm and the parking was full. It was so ‘lively’.
When we reached the restaurant, a waiter welcomed us as gave us a table for 4 next to the escalator. It was so ‘full house’. The waiter was very warm and welcoming. It made us feel so comfortable and happy.
We ordered 2 sets for 2, one is with cod fish and another one without it.
the main course. yumm yumm
yummylicous meat
cod fish and scallops
We were served in individual bowl. Tok Ma and I chose plain soup while Abiy and Aunty Fatin opt for tomyam. We had lemon juice, apple juice and carrot juice as beverages.
I don’t know how to rate seafood, but Tok Ma said it was spectacularly fresh! Some say, if it is from Pulau Ketam, it means the fresh seafood. The food cost us over RM150 RM125 but it was berbaloi for the freshness and the comfortness provided by the waiters.
After dinner, we went to the nearby park, just next to the restaurant to watch fish and tortoise. The park is stroller-friendly and we saw some teenagers were roller-blading along the isle. I drop by Max Value to get my things and we went back home to watch Ayat-Ayat Cinta 😀
If you want to try the fresh seafood experience, you should try lah.
