Before Fahry was brought home, I had some doubt on myself, “How would I look at him? Will I look at him as I look at Hafiy, or seeing him like something weird? How could I treat him like how I treat Hafiy, when I he has only one foot, and unusual fingers?” etc.
But having him home gets rid of everything. Sometimes I just can’t believe I could handle him like he doesn’t has any ‘special features’. Especially when he’s in swaddle, he’s just a normal baby without any handicap!
Oh can’t believe I did it. (It’s very normal for a mother, ain’t it? No matter how our child is, a mother never sees any difference in him).
Fahry now looks less fragile, even if he has a newborn size. Plus, he has strong voice.
Now we’re co-sleep since Fahry’s not comfortable sleeping alone in his cot. He cried (read: scream) almost every hour and woke Hafiy up(Hafiy still needs night feeding, so we can’t sleep in separate room). It ain’t easy sometimes, for me to attend both of them.
So we decided to co-sleep. Now Fahry doesn’t scream in the middle of the night, and Hafiy also has good night sleeps.
They are my superkids.
