When I started to catch fever on Monday, and my body ached all over. Many things those I did routinely, I couldn’t do. And I couldn’t manage to do the most important thing, – milk pumping!
I couldn’t ever get up from the mattress, and with high fever Hafiy, it was not easy to do milk pumping. Until I even thought about “Let the nurses give Fahry FM je lah..”.
It wasn’t easy, true.
I just manage to get 3 containers the whole Monday. And when Abiy said “Susu Fahry dah habis!” oh it enough to make me melatah. But that night was really-really exhausting until I couldn’t get up to do sponging on Hafiy. Thanks Abiy for his sacrifice. He gave up sleeping to sponge Hafiy.
Thinking about giving FM to Fahry, eventually I changed my mind.
- My cold/flu/fever or whatever won’t transmit into my breastmilk as long as I don’t have HIV.
- My breastmilk contains antibodies (while I’m on fever) to my illness, which will protect Fahry from getting it too (of course cos I don’t have contact with him these days).
- Hafiy has CMPA (alergik terhadap protin susu lembu), could be Fahry has it too? Oh no…
So I kuatkan semangat , get up and pump. Cos it was not easy to pump at home, I pumped in the car on the way to the hospital. Fortunately Pak Uda is here, so he can send me there, many times a day.
Alhamdulillah Fahry is still on my BM and hopefully he’s not having CMPA. Poor Hafiy, he can’t eat chocolate, dadih and other dairy products. Else, he’ll get rashes and diarrhoea. I made dadih the other day, thinking that he was free from CMPA, but he got rashes on his face. Cian anak Mami…
Last night and this morning Hafiy had high fever, his temperature was 40degree C!

lyna, who am i to tell than it’s not going to be easy? tapi apa2pun, somehow i believe that you can overcome ANYTHING for your beloved kids. hang in there. the end would be beautiful for all of you!

Tinggi tu tempereture hafiy tu lyna…kena monitor…yerla..dah ada 2 orang…penat sikitla kan…tak perla…anak kecik2 cam ni kena banyak berkorban sikit..dah besar nanti..insyaallah…senang…
my son pun cmpa. memang kesian kan sebab diorang takleh makan dairy products. kalau dulu roti pun tak boleh.

Please bawa Hafiy ke hospital immediately! 40 degree Celcius for a toddler sangat bahaya. My third child, Zara, pernah kena feveral fit (sawan disebabkan demam), just after reaching 39.8 degree. 40 degree kalau pi private, sure kena tahan kat ward punya. Kalau government hospital tak tahulah. Please take action. Kesian Hafiy…
