After purchasing your own domain and hosting, now is the time to start blogging. I’ll share on installing WordPress since we are using WordPress.
There are two ways to install WordPress blog on your hosting. The easiest way would be installing wordpress using Fantastico on your Cpanel. The only setback would be, you won’t get the latest version with this method. Secondly, install WordPress manually by uploading wordpress script on your hosting, set up MySQL database (and its user) and change the uploaded script with the database that you’d created before. Sounds difficult? I’ve uploaded step-by-step video on how to go about it.

And if you are still wondering why we prefer WP than any other blogging tool, here are the reasons:
- WordPress is an open source download godfather the dvd den of lions divx online . I’m not going to explain in detail on what is open source, but in general, it is about free script that made available to web developer so that they can build other ‘add-on’ script (sometimes we called it widget) to complement the basic feature. What it means is that, you can turn your blog to anything you want it to be with all the widget developed by all the ‘tech geek’ FOR FREE. Unlike blogger/blogspot, nobody is developing it but Google staff alone.
- WordPress is Highly Flexible. WordPress is so powerful that you can use it to build any other types of websites; magazine-type, official company sites, shopping-cart style etc. In general, sky is the limit with wordpress.
- Unlimited Free WordPress Template. Since wordpress gain the the most users than any other blogging platform, there are endless supply of wordpress theme and template.

I love WP soo much! Mula2 dengar bunyinya macam susah, tapi bila dah guna, sgt menarik dan sangat mudah..
Oh, I install WP guna fantastico juga, mmg tak dapat recent version (2.7), tapi I update to the latest by uploading the 2.7 script later guna FTP, mainly because saya lembab nak me-mySQL bagai (malas belajar sebenarnya).
Bagus la buat entry mcm ni, jadi ibu2 semua bakal celik IT.
