Unlike Hafiy, Fahry loves his new food very much. Hafiy still love to be contented with my breastmilk, even until today.
As I started with mashed avocado for Fahry, now gradually I add and change to other kind of fruits.
I tried to give him blended pear but he refused. So I played this trick: add with his favourite avocado, little by little. So it has been a week and he shows no allergy to fruits (Sounds weird and very rare, but out there many kids suffers fruit allergy and even rice allergy!).
I mashed Fahry’s avocado and put it in the ice cubes but Tok Ma threw them away. She tot it was Bibik’s khazanah yang dah rosak, huhuhu. Nasibla Fahry…
So I use Avent VIA cup to store Fahry’s food in the freezer instead of using ice cubes container. Furthermore, Fahry eats a lot! He could have 4 cubes at a time. This is different than Hafiy. Even during the solid introduction he doesn’t show a lot of interest, especially for mashed food.
I put 2 different portions of mashed avocado for 2 meals. In another cups I keep blended pears and blended mangos.
I watched his stool and it looks great, even better. And he passes stool everyday. So I stick to his eating schedule, morning breakfast, afternoon lunch and evening dinner. All with different meal, but still fruits. Avocado alone, avocado+pear, avocado+ mango, mango alone, pear alone. I tried banana but Fahry doesn’t like it.
I want to start him on vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower and sweet potato soon when Abiy comes back from Sarawak. Porridge can be later-later. No rushing as long as he’s still breastfeeding, his most nutrient source is my breastmilk.
