When we measured his leg last time, Anton told us that Fahry was too small to fit the ready made prosthesis in the market. So he prepared a handmade prosthesis, specially for Lil Fahry.
It was ready last Monday.

It looks so simple but the price is RM2k plus 🙂 It made by special plastic with some slot so that when Fahry gets taller, the prosthesis can be adjusted as well.
Now is the period of familiarization, where we have to try the prosthesis on him for 20-30 minutes a day, gradually to ensure it’s fit him right, and no pressure put on his leg. It is indicates by redness and sore on his skin that contact with the prosthesis.
Fahry looks so happy to be in his ‘kaki’. He even tries to stand up with our assistance.
So the physiotherapy would started this week, and should be twice a week.
Fahry is the first under 1 year old baby to get a prosthesis at Gleneagles Intan. Anton also was very excited because for the first time he hand-made a prosthesis and he would like to follow’s Fahry development.
Alhamdulillah, I am so glad. Even if I have to sacrifice my career, I am glad doing it for my children.
