Breastfeeding Mom in Action! – Farah, the MSK-Chantek2 Winner

Farah is one of successful working-breastfeeding moms, who is successfully breastfeed her handsome Afif for almost 8 months (as of today). She was inspired by other breastfeeding mothers, who had their babies nursed and get the richness of beautiful food from their own breasts.

Then her beloved husband, Mr. Asri came into the picture when Farah voiced out her intention to breastfeed her future babies. Thanks to her good friend Liza for sharing, caring and motivating all along the breastfeeding journey. Breastfeeding is a synergy, remember?

One of the favourite issues in breastfeeding, is breastfeeding in public. According to Farah, breastfeeding in public is not a thing to be embarrassed. Even, a breastfeeding mother should feel proud when breastfeeding her little bundle of joy no matter where they are. Even in LRT! Farah gives a nice idea to breastfeed in public, by wearing a lovely poncho. She really loves it as it’ll cover front and back of the body.

However, there’s lots of nursing room availables in most of our shopping complexes, e.g. KLCC, Alamanda Putrajaya, SOGO, One Utama, The Curve, IKEA, some TESCOs, etc. for mothers who are still shy to expose their breastfeeding activities. So, with this should be no problem for a breastfeeding mom to go out and about Even Farah’s first experience nursing in public was 7 months ago when Afif was 40 days old, in a shopping complex. According to Farah, she never gets any negative comment about nursing her lil’ Afif in crowd.

Sharing her joy, Farah said that breastfeeding helps her to get slimmer, save money, and for her baby, Afif seldom gets sick and she feels definitely content seeing her own baby grown by the richness of her own breastmilk.
